Wait, is Snoop Dogg really named after the Peanuts character Snoopy the Dog? This is a question I have, but I also refuse to look it up. I’d love to see an alternate version of Snoop Dogg who never got into weed and gangster stuff, and instead just furnished his one-bedroom apartment with porcelain Snoopy figurines. In the beginning of his episode of MTV’s Cribs, he’d open the door and he’d be wearing this big, homely Snoopy sweatshirt and say “Sup guys. I guess I just love Snoopy. This drawing kinda makes Snoop Dogg look really lonely. Look at him! He’s got this clown hair, and maybe he’s balding. He’s just hanging out with his dog, and his dog’s bleeding all over the floor, and he’s got 3 tails. So Snoop’s just hanging out in a white void, with his sick dog, and his pipe’s got blue “smoke”, so it looks like he’s smoking one of those bubble pipes that kids smoke in cartoons so you’re supposed to go “Oh no! A kid’s smoking! Oh, it’s just bubbles. Whew!!!” So Snoop’s just smoking a children’s toy by himself and the whole thing just looks really sad. Nice work, efffyesss. Now I’m depressed.
